Bus Itinerary

Hanoi Station to Lao Cai Station (21:35 – 05:30)

  • 20:40 Arrive at Hanoi Train Station for check-in procedure. Your online ticket would be exchanged for a paper ticket at this point.
  • 21:35 Depart for Lao Cai Train Station.
  • 05:35 Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station.

Lao Cai Station to Hanoi Station (20:50 – 04:30)

  • 20:00 Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station, meet Orient Express train staff for check-in procedure. Your online ticket would be exchanged for a paper ticket at this point.
  • 20:50 Depart for Hanoi Train Station.
  • 04:30 Arrive at Hanoi Train Station.

Note: The distance between Lao Cai Train Station and Sapa Town is about 40 km. Some forms of transportation are needed to travel from Lao Cai to Sapa.

Pickup and drop off

Pick-up: Hanoi Train Station – No.7 Tran Quy Cap St, Dong Da, Hanoi

Note:

  • Please be ready at Train Station 1 hour before departure time
  • Ensure that you was exchanged your E-ticket into Paper ticket at the train station before getting on the train

Drop-off: Lao Cai Train Station – No.337 Quang Truong Ga Street, Lao Cai

Additional Information

  • Once you get confirmation from us (Via Email / WhatsApp / Line / WeChat), your tickets have been reserved.
  • Children aged 0 to 4 can travel for free as long as they share a berth with their parents
  • Ticket price does not include meals on the train, but includes snacks and drinks
  • Surcharge: 10% additional on Christmas, New Year, and Vietnam Holiday
  • The voucher is valid only on the tour date and time specified
Note: Although children under four years old can travel for free, this does not mean that they will be counted towards the occupancy of the cabin. It may be the case that if you book a four-berth compartment then you may be joined by other passengers. If you're concerned about privacy or safety and you're travelling in a group of two adults and one child, then you might prefer to book a private two-berth cabin instead.

Cancellation Policies

  • More than 10 days before departure date: 70% of the total tour price will be refunded
  • 48 hours to 10 days before departure date: 50% of the total tour price will be refunded
  • Within 48 hours before departure date: No refund
